1. Mold readying.

2. The heating and fusion procedure.
Once inside the oven, the mould is revolved on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and overlays the inside if the mould. The rotation is done slowly, about 20 spins per minute. The main thing that is crucial at this point is the amount of time the mold will spend within the oven. If it overstays, the material will lose value and durability, creating a weak item. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which produces bubbles in the finalized item.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the material has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of removal from the mold. This is yet another step that relies a lot on the correct timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too fast, causing bending of the product.

4. The discharging or de-moulding step.
When the component within te mold has cooled correctly, the molder managing the procedure can then extract the finished product from the mould. The process is repeated from the beginning, providing a series of exact product lines.
