1. Mold preparation.
A predetermined amount of polymer in particle form is packed into a hollow mould. The mold is usually composeded of cast aluminium or sheet steel substance. Pre-heating of the oven starts, and it can be done by either conduction, convection or sometimes radiation. It is heated to temperatures between 500-700F. The mold with the powdered polymer is then sealed and installed inside the oven.

2. The heating and fusion procedure.
Once inside the oven, the mould is turned on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and layers the inside if the mold. The spinning is done slowly and gradually, about 20 rotations per minute. One thing that is critical at this moment is the period of time the mould will spend within the oven. If it stays to long, the material will lose value and strength, generating a weak product. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which develops bubbles in the finalized product line.

3. Mold cooling.
When the material has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of removal from the mold. This is another measure that depends a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too quickly, causing warping of the item.

4. The discharging or de-molding phase.
Once the component within te mould has cooled correctly, the person taking care of the process can then remove the finalized item from the mold. The procedure is repeated from the beginning, supplying a number of exact products.
