1. Mould readying.

If it stays to long, the component will lose stability and strength, creating a weak item. If it is extracted from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have liquefied correctly, which develops bubbles in the finalized item.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the product has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of removal from the mould. This is yet another step that depends upon a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too quickly, causing warping of the item.

4. The removing or de-moulding step.
As soon as the component within te mold has cooled successfully, the molder managing the process can then extract the completed item from the mold. The technique is repeated from the start, supplying a number of similar items.
