1. Mould preparation.

2. The heat and fusion process.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the product has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces slightly for ease of extraction from the mould. This is another step that depends a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling decreases the material too fast, causing bending of the item.

4. The discharging or de-moulding step.
As soon as the component inside te mould has cooled correctly, the molder handling the procedure can then take out the finished item from the mold. The technique is repeated from the start, giving a number of identical products.
