1. Mold prep work.

2. The heating and fusion procedure.
Once inside the oven, the mould is rotated on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and layers the inside if the mould. The rotation is done slowly, about 20 revolutions per sixty seconds. Something that is important at this point is the period of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the product will lose value and durability, making a faulty product. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which creates bubbles in the completed item.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the component has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of removal from the mold. This is an additional procedure that depends upon a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too quickly, causing warping of the product.

4. The discharging or de-molding phase.
As soon as the component within te mold has cooled effectively, the person handling the process can then remove the finished product from the mold. The procedure is repeated from the beginning, giving a series of exact products.
