The main thing that is vital at this point is the period of time the mold will spend within the oven. If it overstays, the material will lose value and durability, creating a faulty item. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have liquefied correctly, which generates bubbles in the completed item.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the product has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of extraction from the mould. This is yet another step that relies a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling decreases the material too rapidly, causing bending of the product.

4. The offloading or de-molding step.
As soon as the material inside te mould has cooled correctly, the molder handling the process can then take out the finalized item from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the beginning, giving a number of identical products.
