1. Mould fitting.

Preheating of the oven starts, and it may be done by either conduction, convection or sometimes radiation. It is heated up to temperatures between 500-700F. The mold with the powdered polymer is then sealed and installed inside the oven.

2. The heating up and fusion procedure.
Once inside the oven, the mold is spun on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and layers the inside if the mold. The rotation is done gradually, about 20 spins per sixty seconds. Something that is important at this moment is the amount of time the mould will spend within the oven. If it overstays, the component will lose value and durability, creating a weak product. If it is taken out from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which produces bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the material has sufficiently spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces a little for ease of extraction from the mould. This is another procedure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too quick, causing bending of the product.

4. The offloading or de-molding phase.
When the component inside te mold has cooled correctly, the person managing the operation can then remove the finished product from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the beginning, making a series of exact product lines.
