1. Mould fitting.
A predetermined measure of polymer in powder form is filled into a hollow mould. The mould is usually composeded of cast aluminium or sheet steel substance. The colour preferred for the final goods is pre compounded into the polymer. The most often used powder resin is polythene, but polyvinyl chloride and nylon can also be used in this format of plastic assembly.

Pre-heating of the oven starts, and it can be done by either conduction, convection or sometimes radiation. It is warmed to temperatures between 500-700F. The mould with the powdered polymer is then secured and placed inside the oven.

2. The heat and fusion phase.
Once placed into the oven, the mold is revolved on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and overlays the inside if the mold. The spinning is done gradually, about 20 revolutions per sixty seconds. The main thing that is essential at this point is the period of time the mold will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the component will lose value and durability, making a faulty product. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have melted properly, which generates bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mould cooling.
When the component has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks a little for ease of removal from the mold. This is another procedure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too quick, causing warping of the material.

4. The discharging or de-molding phase.
As soon as the component within te mould has cooled adequately, the molder handling the process can then remove the finalized product from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the start, supplying a number of identical products.
