2. The heat and fusion process.

The turning is done slowly, about 20 revolutions per minute. The main thing that is essential at this point is the period of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it stays to long, the component will lose value and strength, producing a poor item. If it is taken out from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted properly, which produces bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mould cooling.
When the material has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks somewhat for ease of removal from the mold. This is another measure that depends upon a lot on the correct timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too fast, causing bending of the material.

4. The unloading or de-moulding phase.
Once the material inside te mould has cooled successfully, the person handling the operation can then take out the finalized product from the mold. The process is repeated from the beginning, supplying a number of exact product lines.
