1. Mold prep work.

2. The heat and fusion process.

The main thing that is critical at this moment is the amount of time the mould will spend within the oven. If it stays to long, the material will lose value and strength, producing a weak product. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have liquefied correctly, which generates bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the product has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of extraction from the mold. This is one more measure that depends a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too quick, causing warping of the item.

4. The offloading or de-moulding step.
When the component within te mold has cooled successfully, the person managing the process can then remove the finished item from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the beginning, supplying a number of identical product lines.
