1. Mould preparation.

2. The heating and fusion step.
Once within the oven, the mold is revolved on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and overlays the inside if the mould. The spinning is done slowly and gradually, about 20 revolutions per minute. Something that is vital at this moment is the amount of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the product will lose stability and durability, creating a poor product. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed correctly, which produces bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mold cooling.
When the product has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces a little for ease of extraction from the mould. This is another measure that depends a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling decreases the material too fast, causing bending of the material.

4. The discharging or de-molding step.
When the material within te mold has cooled correctly, the person taking care of the operation can then take out the completed item from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the beginning, giving a series of similar items.
