If it overstays, the material will lose value and durability, creating a weak item. 3. Mould cooling down.
When the material has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of removal from the mould. This is yet another procedure that depends upon a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling decreases the material too rapidly, causing warping of the item.

4. The removing or de-moulding phase.
As soon as the product within te mould has cooled properly, the person handling the process can then extract the completed item from the mold. The function is repeated from the beginning, providing a number of identical items.
