1. Mold prep work.

2. The heating up and fusion phase.
Once within the oven, the mould is rotated on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and layers the inside if the mould. The spinning is done gradually, about 20 spins per min. One thing that is crucial at this moment is the period of time the mould will spend within the oven. If it stays to long, the component will lose stability and strength, generating a poor item. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which creates bubbles in the finalized product line.
3. Mold cooling down.
When the material has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of extraction from the mould. This is one more step that depends upon a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too rapidly, causing bending of the item.
4. The discharging or de-molding phase.
When the product within te mould has cooled successfully, the molder taking care of the operation can then take out the completed item from the mold. The function is repeated from the start, providing a number of identical items.
