1. Mould preparation.

2. The heating and fusion step.
Once within the oven, the mould is turned on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and layers the inside if the mould. The spinning is done slowly and gradually, about 20 rotations per min. The main thing that is critical at this moment is the amount of time the mould will spend within the oven. If it overstays, the product will lose value and durability, making a poor product. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have liquefied properly, which develops bubbles in the completed product.

3. Mold cooling.
When the component has sufficiently spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the component cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of removal from the mould. This is an additional procedure that depends a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too fast, causing warping of the material.

4. The unloading or de-molding phase.
When the component inside te mold has cooled effectively, the molder managing the procedure can then remove the finalized item from the mould. The function is repeated from the start, making a number of exact products.
