1. Mold readying.

If it stays to long, the product will lose stability and durability, producing a poor product. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which produces bubbles in the finalized product.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the component has sufficiently spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks somewhat for ease of extraction from the mould. This is another step that depends upon a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too fast, causing warping of the material.

4. The discharging or de-molding step.
As soon as the material within te mold has cooled successfully, the person managing the operation can then remove the finalized item from the mold. The process is repeated from the start, supplying a series of identical items.
