If it overstays, the component will lose value and durability, generating a faulty product. If it is extracted from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have flowed correctly, which creates bubbles in the finished item.

3. Mold cooling.
When the material has sufficiently spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of extraction from the mold. This is an additional step that relies a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling decreases the material too quick, causing bending of the product.

4. The removing or de-moulding phase.
As soon as the product inside te mold has cooled correctly, the person taking care of the procedure can then extract the completed product from the mould. The function is repeated from the beginning, providing a number of similar product lines.
