The Rotomolding Method Components

1. Mold readying.

If it overstays, the material will lose stability and durability, making a weak product. If it is taken out from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which generates bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mould cooling.
When the material has sufficiently spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks somewhat for ease of removal from the mould. This is another step that depends upon a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too quick, causing warping of the product.

4. The unloading or de-moulding step.
As soon as the component inside te mold has cooled adequately, the person taking care of the operation can then extract the completed product from the mould. The function is repeated from the start, making a number of exact product lines.
