1. Mould preparation.

3. Mould cooling.
When the product has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is one more procedure that depends upon a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too quickly, causing warping of the material.

4. The discharging or de-molding step.
When the material inside te mould has cooled properly, the molder handling the procedure can then take out the finished product from the mold. The technique is repeated from the start, giving a series of identical items.
