The Rotomoulding Procedure Components

1. Mold fitting.

If it overstays, the material will lose stability and strength, generating a weak item. If it is taken out from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have melted properly, which generates bubbles in the completed product line.

3. Mold cooling.
When the material has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks a little for ease of extraction from the mold. This is another procedure that relies a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling decreases the material too quick, causing warping of the material.

4. The un-loading or de-moulding phase.
As soon as the product inside te mould has cooled effectively, the person handling the operation can then extract the finished item from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the start, providing a series of identical products.
