1. Mould readying.
A predetermined measure of polymer in powder form is packed into a hollow mould. The mold is usually crafted from cast aluminium or sheet steel material. The coloring chosen for the final product is pre compounded into the polymer. The most generally used powder resin is polythene, but polyvinyl chloride and nylon can also be used in this format of plastic production.

Preheating of the oven starts, and it may be done by either conduction, convection or sometimes radiation. It is heated up to temperatures between 500-700F. The mold with the powdered polymer is then secured and installed into the oven.

2. The heating up and fusion procedure.
Once inside the oven, the mold is revolved on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and overlays the inside if the mold. The turning is done gradually, about 20 spins per min. The main thing that is important at this point is the amount of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the component will lose stability and strength, making a faulty product. If it is removed from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted properly, which develops bubbles in the finished product line.

3. Mould cooling.
When the material has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces a little for ease of extraction from the mold. This is one more procedure that depends upon a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling decreases the material too rapidly, causing warping of the product.

4. The discharging or de-molding phase.
As soon as the material within te mould has cooled effectively, the molder taking care of the procedure can then remove the finished item from the mould. The technique is repeated from the beginning, providing a series of exact items.
