1. Mould preparation.

If it is taken out from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have liquefied correctly, which generates bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mold cooling.
When the material has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is one more measure that depends a lot on the correct timing, since quick cooling decreases the material too fast, causing bending of the material.

4. The unloading or de-molding step.
Once the product within te mould has cooled properly, the molder handling the process can then take out the completed item from the mold. The process is repeated from the start, supplying a number of similar items.
