1. Mold fitting.

If it overstays, the component will lose stability and strength, generating a poor item. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which produces bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the component has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces slightly for ease of removal from the mold. This is yet another procedure that relies a lot on the correct timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too quick, causing warping of the product.

4. The offloading or de-molding phase.
Once the product inside te mold has cooled properly, the person handling the procedure can then take out the finished product from the mold. The function is repeated from the start, giving a series of identical items.
