1. Mould prep work.

3. Mold cooling.
When the material has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of removal from the mold. This is yet another measure that relies a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too quickly, causing warping of the material.

4. The unloading or de-molding step.
As soon as the material within te mold has cooled correctly, the person taking care of the operation can then extract the finished item from the mould. The process is repeated from the beginning, supplying a series of identical items.
