1. Mold readying.
A predetermined measure of polymer in grain form is loaded into a hollow mold. The mould is usually built from cast aluminium or sheet steel substance. The most commonly used powder resin is polythene, but polyvinyl chloride and nylon can also be used in this style of plastic manufacturing.

Preheating of the oven starts, and it may be done by either conduction, convection or sometimes radiation. It is warmed to temperatures between 500-700F. The mould with the powdered polymer is then sealed and installed into the oven.

2. The heat and fusion step.
Once within the oven, the mould is revolved on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and coats the inside if the mould. The spinning is done slowly and gradually, about 20 spins per sixty seconds. The main thing that is crucial at this moment is the period of time the mould will spend within the oven. If it stays to long, the component will lose stability and strength, creating a poor item. If it is extracted from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which generates bubbles in the completed item.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the component has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces slightly for ease of extraction from the mold. This is another procedure that relies a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too fast, causing bending of the item.

4. The un-loading or de-molding phase.
When the product inside te mold has cooled successfully, the molder managing the procedure can then remove the finished product from the mold. The procedure is repeated from the start, making a series of exact product lines.
