1. Mold prep work.

3. Mould cooling.
When the component has sufficiently spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is an additional procedure that depends a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too quick, causing bending of the material.

4. The unloading or de-molding step.
When the component within te mould has cooled adequately, the person taking care of the procedure can then extract the completed item from the mold. The technique is repeated from the start, supplying a number of identical product lines.
