The Rotomolding Procedure Components

1. Mold fitting.

If it stays to long, the component will lose stability and strength, creating a weak item. If it is removed from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed correctly, which produces bubbles in the finished product.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the material has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of removal from the mold. This is another procedure that relies a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too quickly, causing bending of the product.

4. The removing or de-moulding step.
When the material inside te mould has cooled effectively, the person handling the procedure can then remove the completed product from the mold. The procedure is repeated from the start, providing a number of similar items.
