1. Mould preparation.
A fixed volume of polymer in grain form is loaded into a hollow mould. The mould is usually built from cast aluminium or sheet steel substance. 2. The heating up and fusion phase.
Once within the oven, the mold is spun on two axis so the powdered polymer melts from the heat and layers the inside if the mold. The spinning is done gradually, about 20 spins per sixty seconds. The main thing that is vital at this moment is the period of time the mold will spend inside the oven. If it overstays, the material will lose value and durability, producing a faulty product. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted correctly, which generates bubbles in the completed item.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the component has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of extraction from the mold. This is another measure that relies a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling decreases the material too fast, causing bending of the product.

4. The un-loading or de-molding step.
When the component within te mold has cooled effectively, the molder managing the procedure can then extract the finalized item from the mould. The function is repeated from the start, making a number of exact product lines.
