1. Mold preparation.

3. Mold cooling.
When the material has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of extraction from the mold. This is an additional measure that depends upon a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too quick, causing warping of the material.

4. The offloading or de-moulding phase.
As soon as the component within te mold has cooled successfully, the molder taking care of the procedure can then remove the completed item from the mold. The process is repeated from the beginning, making a number of identical items.
