1. Mould prep work.

One thing that is vital at this moment is the amount of time the mold will spend within the oven. If it stays to long, the product will lose value and durability, generating a faulty product. If it is taken out from the oven too early, the polymer will not have liquefied properly, which generates bubbles in the finished product line.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the component has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces a little for ease of extraction from the mold. This is yet another measure that depends a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too fast, causing warping of the item.

4. The discharging or de-molding step.
When the component inside te mold has cooled successfully, the molder handling the procedure can then remove the finished item from the mould. The process is repeated from the start, giving a series of similar products.
