1. Mould fitting.

3. Mould cooling.
When the material has sufficiently spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then taken out for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the component cools, it shrinks somewhat for ease of extraction from the mold. This is yet another step that relies a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling decreases the material too rapidly, causing warping of the item.

4. The unloading or de-moulding phase.
Once the component within te mould has cooled correctly, the molder handling the procedure can then extract the finished item from the mould. The function is repeated from the start, providing a number of exact items.
