1. Mould readying.

2. The heating and fusion procedure.
Once within the oven, the mould is spun on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and coats the inside if the mold. The rotation is done gradually, about 20 rotations per min. Something that is crucial at this moment is the amount of time the mold will spend inside the oven. If it stays to long, the material will lose stability and durability, generating a faulty product. If it is removed from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted properly, which generates bubbles in the finished item.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the material has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces somewhat for ease of extraction from the mold. This is an additional procedure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since rapid cooling reduces the material too fast, causing bending of the item.

4. The removing or de-moulding step.
When the component inside te mould has cooled correctly, the molder taking care of the procedure can then remove the completed product from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the start, making a series of identical products.
