1. Mould fitting.

If it overstays, the material will lose value and strength, generating a faulty product. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which develops bubbles in the completed product.

3. Mould cooling.
When the product has completely spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of extraction from the mould. This is yet another measure that depends upon a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too quick, causing warping of the material.

4. The discharging or de-moulding phase.
As soon as the material inside te mold has cooled successfully, the person handling the process can then remove the finished product from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the beginning, providing a series of identical product lines.
