1. Mould preparation.

2. The heat and fusion process.
Once within the oven, the mold is spun on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and coats the inside if the mould. The rotation is done gradually, about 20 revolutions per minute. One thing that is vital at this point is the period of time the mold will spend inside the oven. If it stays to long, the component will lose value and strength, producing a faulty item. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted properly, which produces bubbles in the finalized product line.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the product has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces slightly for ease of removal from the mould. This is an additional measure that depends a lot on the ideal timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too rapidly, causing warping of the product.

4. The un-loading or de-molding step.
As soon as the component within te mould has cooled effectively, the molder handling the operation can then remove the completed product from the mold. The technique is repeated from the beginning, providing a series of exact items.
