The Rotomoulding Process Components

1. Mold readying.

If it is taken out from the oven too early, the polymer will not have liquefied properly, which generates bubbles in the completed product line.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the product has completely spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it reduces slightly for ease of extraction from the mould. This is another measure that depends upon a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too rapidly, causing bending of the product.

4. The unloading or de-molding step.
When the material within te mold has cooled successfully, the person managing the process can then remove the finished product from the mold. The procedure is repeated from the beginning, giving a series of identical products.
