3. Mold cooling down.
When the material has sufficiently spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it reduces a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is one more step that relies a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too rapidly, causing bending of the material.

4. The discharging or de-molding step.
Once the product inside te mould has cooled correctly, the molder taking care of the process can then remove the finalized product from the mold. The procedure is repeated from the start, giving a number of identical items.
