1. Mould preparation.

Something that is important at this moment is the period of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it stays to long, the product will lose value and durability, making a poor product. If it is extracted from the oven too early, the polymer will not have flowed correctly, which produces bubbles in the finalized product.

3. Mould cooling down.
When the product has completely spent the correct amount of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the component cools, it shrinks a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is yet another measure that depends a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling decreases the material too rapidly, causing bending of the product.

4. The un-loading or de-molding step.
Once the material within te mold has cooled properly, the person handling the procedure can then extract the finalized item from the mould. The technique is repeated from the beginning, giving a series of identical products.
