If it overstays, the material will lose stability and strength, producing a weak item. 3. Mold cooling.
When the material has sufficiently spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of extraction from the mould. This is yet another procedure that relies a lot on the correct timing, since rapid cooling shrinks the material too rapidly, causing bending of the product.

4. The un-loading or de-moulding phase.
When the product inside te mould has cooled effectively, the molder managing the operation can then take out the completed item from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the start, providing a number of similar products.
