1. Mold fitting.

Once inside the oven, the mould is rotated on two axis so the powdered polymer liquefies from the heat and coats the inside if the mold. If it stays to long, the product will lose value and durability, making a faulty item. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have flowed properly, which creates bubbles in the completed product.

3. Mold cooling.
When the product has sufficiently spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the material cools, it shrinks slightly for ease of extraction from the mold. This is yet another measure that depends upon a lot on the right timing, since quick cooling shrinks the material too quick, causing warping of the product.

4. The removing or de-molding phase.
When the product within te mould has cooled adequately, the person taking care of the process can then extract the finished item from the mould. The procedure is repeated from the start, making a number of similar items.
