1. Mold preparation.

3. Mold cooling down.

This can be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which generates a cool mist. When the component cools, it reduces slightly for ease of removal from the mold. This is one more procedure that relies a lot on the correct timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too quick, causing warping of the product.

4. The discharging or de-molding phase.
