One thing that is crucial at this point is the amount of time the mould will spend inside the oven. If it stays to long, the product will lose value and strength, generating a faulty product. If it is removed from the oven prematurely, the polymer will not have flowed correctly, which generates bubbles in the finished product line.

3. Mold cooling down.
When the product has sufficiently spent the right amount of time in the oven, it is then extracted for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the component cools, it shrinks a little for ease of removal from the mold. This is an additional procedure that depends a lot on the ideal timing, since rapid cooling decreases the material too quick, causing warping of the item.

4. The unloading or de-moulding phase.
As soon as the component within te mould has cooled properly, the person managing the operation can then take out the finished product from the mold. The procedure is repeated from the start, giving a series of similar products.
