1. Mould fitting.

If it overstays, the material will lose value and durability, generating a weak item. If it is removed from the oven too early, the polymer will not have melted properly, which creates bubbles in the finished product line.

3. Mold cooling.
When the component has sufficiently spent the enough of time in the oven, it is then removed for cooling. This may be done by air or water, or sometimes a mixture of both which creates a cool mist. When the product cools, it shrinks a little for ease of removal from the mould. This is another measure that relies a lot on the correct timing, since quick cooling reduces the material too rapidly, causing warping of the item.

4. The offloading or de-molding phase.
Once the component inside te mold has cooled correctly, the person taking care of the operation can then take out the completed item from the mold. The function is repeated from the beginning, providing a number of similar items.
